It is noteworthy that this was not the first prize the film received this October; It previously won the Best Film Award at the Moscow Short Film Festival, as well as the Namur Film Festival in Belgium.

It should be noted that the film was first screened in Egypt during the activities of the fourth session of the El Gouna International Film Festival.

The events of the 15-minute film revolve around a 16-year-old young man trying to return to his girlfriend after a separation that lasted 82 days, and the film was shot in just two days in the popular Sakakini neighborhood in Cairo.

The film, as previously mentioned, is directed by Sameh Alaa, and is produced by an Egyptian, French and Belgian film. It is the first Egyptian film to participate in the "Cannes" Festival for short fiction films. This film is the second by the director who presented his short feature film "Khamastacher" 3 years ago, which won several awards Local.

The Cannes Festival administration decided to cancel the official competition for feature films this year due to the Corona pandemic last June, and announced a miniature version of the festival for the short feature films competition this month.
