For women Appearing like a girl by dressing in a girlish style
People want to keep looking young for as long as they can, and they would do anything to achieve it at any price they can afford. Many of them don't recognize that sometimes all it takes is rethinking the wardrobe and dressing young.
As women reach our 30s, some of us begin to see signs of aging, especially on our skin. Fine lines, wrinkles, and crow's feet begin to appear. If we've already had a child and haven't really focused on taking care of our body, we would notice a certain thickness around the middle, not to mention some sags that are already forming here and there. Plastic surgery may be the answer you need to get your youth back, but sometimes just dressing young cuts it short enough.
Dressing young doesn't mean following current fashion trends too closely. No matter how trendy or edgy we are, we would all reach a certain age when some fashion trends no longer suit us. Dressing young is also not an excuse to remove the remains of the wardrobe that we had as teenagers from the warehouse and start using them again.
When we say "dress young," what we mean is updating our wardrobe with a few select pieces to keep us on trend and add a little spice to them, but without altering our signature style. Because that's what we should do when we reach middle age. We should start to adopt a distinctive style instead of being fashion conscious. In more ways than one, this is the "dressing young" that we must continue to do. Our signature style should show up in our choice of outfits, but we need to keep moving forward with our choices nonetheless.
Dressing young people in jeans
Jeans are the staple when it comes to dressing young. Unfortunately, jeans are also the most unforgiving for a figure that has been thickened by age and perhaps motherhood. If your jeans don't fit you, they will show every curve that needs to be hidden rather than revealed.
However, there is a trick to dressing young people in jeans. If your waist has already thickened and your waist isn't as thin as it used to be, what you can do is find a pair of jeans that flatter your figure rather than sticking to the old styles you used to wear.
A pair of pirate cut jeans will balance your body thickness and make you look voluptuous instead of plump. Pair it with a top that covers and flows around you, and you're good to go.
Cakes to dress young people
Perhaps nothing beats aging more than dressing in light colors. When we were younger we were forced to wear darker colors like navy blue, black, maroon or chocolate brown because we wanted to be taken more seriously when starting our careers. However, as we move into middle age, we should start dressing young by relaxing.
However, you don't have to give up your dark suits for this. Maybe all you need to do is pair them with a pastel colored blouse with some embellishments. Maybe a few colorful options and accessories would do it. However, be careful not to overdo it. You still want to look calm and competent in your corporate rags instead of bubbly and flashy.
However, on casual days and on weekends, when you can remove your suits, an amazing way to dress young is to wear a light fabric pastel dress, especially during the summer. Tie your hair into a ponytail and forget about makeup for a day, except for a little face powder and shiny lip gloss. This is the cheapest and best way to combat aging, and you don't even need Botox for that.
