Google Pixel 7a phone photos leaked
A new set of images has appeared for Google's upcoming budget Pixel 7a phone. It is clear from the images that the Pixel 7a looks very much like the Pixel 7 version with a screen with a hole for the camera and a slightly curved glass back. The edges of the screen on the phone are large and appear to be thicker than the Pixel 7.
8GB RAM
The device in the new photos bears the GHL1X model number and will contain 8GB LPDDR5 RAM manufactured by Samsung, and 128GB storage (presumably UFS 3.1) from SK Hynix / Micron. The new images also show a USB-C port on the bottom and a single SIM slot.
6.1-inch OLED screen with FHD + resolution
The rest of the specifications include a 6.1-inch OLED display with FHD + resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The phone will work with the Tensor G2 chipset from Google. The camera system consists of a 64MP main camera (IMX787) and a 12MP wide angle camera. The device is also expected to offer 5W wireless charging - a first for the Pixel a series. Google Pixel 7a is expected to be launched at Google I/O 2023 in May.
