Justin Bieber sells the rights to his songs for $200 million
Canadian singer, Justin Bieber, sold his share of the rights to his music to the music company, “Hipgnosis Songs Capital”, for $ 200 million.
The company now owns the rights to some of Bieber's most successful songs in recent years, "Baby" and "Suri," which means it will receive a sum of money every time a Bieber song is played.
The company acquired Bieber's publishing rights to his 290-track record. Hippgnosis did not disclose the terms of the deal.
The deal also included the acquisition of the star's share in his master recordings of the songs, that is, in their initial form before releasing them in their final version.
