Gigi Hadid closes her Twitter account, and the reason is Elon Musk
Palestinian-American model Gigi Hadid permanently closed her Twitter account after Elon Mike bought the platform.
Gigi announced her move through the Al-Astori feature on her Instagram account, where she wrote: "Twitter has become a focus of hatred and intolerance.. Therefore, I do not want to be a part of this place. I am sorry to all the followers there and who I loved to communicate with during my time on the platform. Twitter is no longer the safe place for anyone, it's only for the mischief.”
Gigi Hadid's move came after the actions that Elon Musk announced that he would follow with Twitter users in addition to the actions he had already taken with the company's employees, as many of them were fired.
Elon Musk's new steps on Twitter
Musk has stated that anyone who is banned from using the social media platform for violating the content rules will not be allowed to return, until a process is established to do so, which "will take at least a few more weeks."
The newly announced platform's content supervisory board, which will judge replay and content decisions, will include members of the civil rights community and groups facing hate-motivated violence, the new owner of Twitter added.
Musk said people he has spoken to include Jonathan Greenblatt of the Anti-Defamation League, Rashad Robinson of the Color Change group and Jessica Gonzalez of the Free Press group.
Elon Musk, the new owner of Twitter, imposed a monthly fee of $8 on verified accounts on Twitter.
He also called himself the operator of Twitter's complaints hotline after he decided to dissolve the company's board of directors, and he also dismissed the senior leadership of Twitter after accusing it of misleading him about the number of spam accounts on the platform.
