Court sentences Alec Baldwin to death over Rust's director of filming
Actor Alec Baldwin's lawyer revealed that the investigation conducted by the New Mexico State Police cleared his client of any wrongdoing in the shooting incident in which the director of photography died on the set of the movie "Rust."
The lawyer continued, noting that the investigation stated that the actor believed that there were no live bullets in his pistol. The report criticized the producers of "Rust" for "deliberate" security holes that led to the death of cinematographer Helena Hutchins, and a fine of $137,000 was imposed on the company, which is the highest possible fine.
