Linda Thomas, US delegate to the Security Council: Putin must stop this madness
The United States representative to the Security Council, Linda Thomas Greenfield, said today (Friday) that nuclear facilities cannot become part of this conflict between Russia and Ukraine, according to what Al Arabiya reported.
In her speech during the emergency session of the Security Council, she called on Moscow to withdraw its forces from the "Zaporegia" nuclear facility, noting that Russia's attack on Zaporizhia yesterday endangered Europe's largest nuclear plant.
"Putin must stop the humanitarian catastrophe by ending the war, he must stop this madness," she added.
