British government grants asylum to Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky if he decides to leave Kiev
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has announced that Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky will be granted asylum if he decides to flee or leave Kiev, according to "Russia Today".
For the second day, the Russian army continues its operations in Ukraine, and Russian President Vladimir Putin called on the Ukrainian army to seize power, saying: It will be easy to agree if the power is in the hands of the Ukrainian army.
During his meeting with the Russian National Security Council, the Russian president added: "We appreciate what the Russian army forces are doing... I call on the Ukrainian armed forces not to use civilians as human shields."
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry confirmed that the absence of a strong response to Russia will lead to an escalation of the threat in Europe, adding: "The security future of Europe is determined in Ukraine."
The Ukrainian President, Vladimir Zelensky, accused Europe of not responding adequately to the Russian attack, and of slowing down in sending aid to his country, while calling on Europeans to demonstrate to force their governments to act against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
