The first features of the digital world began with Nike, the company introduced a brand of virtual and downloadable goods.
The company has filed four applications with the US Patent Office for a variety of digital goods: eyewear, bags and sports equipment.
This isn't the first time the sports giant has embraced virtual world technology, in 2019 Nike was granted a patent for "crypto-secured digital assets."
