British pop star Adele revealed the difficulties she faced at the age of 30 that inspired the content of her new album "30", inaugurating her strong return to the art scene through an interview with "Vogue" magazine that included a number of confessions.
The London singer, currently residing in Los Angeles, topped the cover of the British and American editions of the famous magazine, which published an interview with her in which she broke her silence for 5 years, and spoke for the first time about her divorce, psychological treatment and her amazing weight loss.
"At the age of 30, my life fell apart without warning," Adele, 33, said in the British edition of the magazine. "I feel that this album is more like self-destruction, then self-reflection, then self-salvation," she added.
And Adele addressed her separation in April 2019 from her husband, Simon Konecki, who worked in the financial sector and founded a charity, and said in this regard, "It no longer suits me, I was not sad, but I would have been if I had not thought of myself first."
Adele recorded this very private album, whose release date is not yet known, with the aim of answering the questions of her son Angelo (9 years) about this divorce, and to heal the wound he inflicted on him.
"My son has a lot of questions," she added. Really good questions, really innocent questions, that I don't have an answer for” like why can't you two live together?
And she continued, "I felt that I wanted to explain to him through this album who I am and why I voluntarily chose to dismantle his whole life in pursuit of my happiness," so that he understands "when he grows up."
Adele was able to get rid of the state of anxiety that she was living in thanks to undergoing psychological treatment and perseverance in exercising, which allowed her to lose about 45 kg.
"I have to prepare to be famous again, which I don't like as everyone knows," she said.
The singer, who won 15 Grammy Awards, confirmed that she is in a romantic relationship with American Rich Paul, who owns a company to manage the business of a number of athletes.
