Ronaldo sent a video message of support to the player, inviting him to attend a match for the Red Devils in Manchester, after he recovered.

On 4 September, the player was hit by one strong blow to the head from a 15-year-old boy, while walking in the street to his house after returning from celebrating his 26th birthday.
As a result of this attack, he suffered a brain hemorrhage and a fractured skull. Although he opened his eyes a few days ago, he is still in intensive care on a ventilator.
