Bitcoin drops below $43,000
The negative performance of cryptocurrencies dominated today's trading, coinciding with the return of the rapid increase in profit-taking operations for the currency of "Bitcoin", which pushed it to decline to the lowest level of 43 thousand dollars.
According to data from the CoinMarketCap website, which specializes in monitoring the performance of digital currencies, the value of the Bitcoin currency decreased by about $1371.9, equivalent to 3.1%, as investors of these currencies turned to speculative operations and reap the gains of the past two sessions.
During today's trading, the price of "Bitcoin" fell to 42.68 thousand dollars. At the same time, the total market value of the “Bitcoin” currency decreased to the level of 802.81 billion dollars from 829.26 billion dollars, losing about 26.45 billion dollars, equivalent to 3.1%.
In terms of other cryptocurrencies, during today's trading, the "Binance Coin" currency fell by 3.5% to reach about $340.1. Dogecoin fell 2.5%, to about $0.2.
The "Cardano" currency fell by 3.4%, to about $2.16. The Ripple currency fell by 3%, to about $0.93. While the “Ethereum” currency fell by 5.2%, reaching the level of $2.96 thousand.
In this morning's trading, the total market value of digital currencies fell to about 1.89 trillion dollars, compared to 1.95 trillion dollars, losing about 60 billion dollars, equivalent to 3.07%.
