With a motorcycle, Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro organizes another rally without masks
Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro drove a motorbike without using a mask, on Sunday, in the capital, Brasilia, during a motorbike rally.
And local media reported that hundreds of supporters joined him in the march that roamed the capital and the surrounding area, and most of them were not wearing masks.
This came after Bolsonaro organized a massive rally, Saturday, with the participation of thousands in the southern city of Florianopolis, and it was also among crowds without masks.
Bolsonaro was fined for not using a mask earlier this year by two state governments after a major motorcycle rally in Sao Paulo in June and another event in Maranhão state in May, with both states headed by opponents of Bolsonaro.
It is noteworthy that the right-wing populist leader, who was infected with the emerging coronavirus and recovered from it last year, has downplayed the seriousness of the virus since the beginning of the pandemic, and has long expressed his refusal to use masks and other measures to limit the spread of the epidemic.
