Corona forces Rolling Stones player Bill Wyman to close his London restaurant
Former British guitarist Bill Wyman announced Thursday that he had to close his London restaurant due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The 84-year-old artist explained in a statement that the health crisis prompted him to permanently close his 32-year-old restaurant, "Steaky Fingers" in Kensington (west London).
He added, "My thoughts are with all those affected by the pandemic, and I also have the sad news to announce, which is that my dear restaurant (Steaky Fingers) has closed for the last time due to the epidemic."
Bill Wyman was the guitarist for the Rolling Stones between 1962 and 1993 before composing his own band, Bill Wymans Rhythm Kings, devoting more time to his other two passions, photography and art.
The "Steaky Fingers", named after the title of the "Stones" album, released in 1971, served American foods such as burgers and chicken wings, and was decorated with souvenirs of the famous band.
