Sentinel One, a company specializing in IT security, announced the discovery of five serious security holes in the operating system for updating firmware "firmware" for many Dell desktop, laptop and tablet computers.

Due to the presence of these security vulnerabilities in hundreds of models since 2009 until now, owners of Dell computers can search for their devices in two lists prepared by Dell on the company's website, and by pressing Ctrl + F, it is possible to search for the model name and number. If the user finds his model, then he must download the tool, provided by the American company and installed on the device, which removes the unsafe "dbutil_2_3.sys" driver.
Otherwise, owners of Dell computers can remove the driver through the support help program from Dell, and the American company stated that this update wizard will not be available before May 10, and it also advised installing the update wizard and using it in all cases, even for users, who have removed The previously mentioned tool used the unsafe driver, because the user will get through this program a new and safe driver to update the firmware without the risk of installing unsafe drivers again.
