Egypt hosts for the first time the World Cup for artistic gymnastics
The International Federation approved the establishment of the World Cup for Artistic Gymnastics in Cairo 2021, and this is for the first time in the history of Egyptian gymnastics.
Dr. Ihab Amin, member of the Olympic Committee and President of the Egyptian Gymnastics Federation, confirmed that the International Federation’s approval to host such international events did not come from a vacuum, as officials of the International Federation praised the efficiency and ability of the Egyptian Federation to organize such championships technically and administratively at the highest level.
It is worth noting that the International Federation had previously classified the Egyptian Federation in the seventh place in the world in terms of management and organization.
Dr. Nihad Zayed, Executive Director of the Egyptian Gymnastics Federation, confirmed that the dazzle and confidence of the officials of the International Federation also came through their follow-up to Egypt hosting previous international and continental events for gymnastics.
