He said, "Britain is trying to follow a policy of appeasement and use other methods ... But now, if Russia does not change its position, it will be difficult for us to understand where we are going."
The minister stated that at the end of last year, a Russian submarine was detected in the Irish Sea. He pointed out that his country had not monitored the presence of Russian submarines in that region for a very, very long time.
