The greatest event ever, the Procession of Royal Mummies, begins within a few hours, with intense media coverage, with an international presence.
Zurab Pololikashvili, Secretary-General of the World Tourism Organization, Audrey Azoulay, head of UNESCO and the accompanying delegation, as well as many famous personalities will participate in the event.
The event is scheduled to transmit more than 400 local and international channels and news agencies, to lead the media scene, unique and distinct, from the most powerful events, to be the strongest promotional campaign for cultural tourism in Egypt.
The procession of royal mummies will leave the door of the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, passing through the brightly-lit Omar Makram Mosque, Simon Bolivar Square, then unveiling the obelisk and rams in the middle of Tahrir Square, reaching the Nile Corniche, passing through the El-Ayoun Wall, and then reaching the National Museum of Civilization in Fustat.
22 mummies of a Pharaonic king and queen dating back to the 17, 18, 19, and 20 families, including 18 mummies for kings and 4 mummies for queens, as follows: King Ramses II, Ramses III, Ramses IV, Ramses V, Ramses VI, Ramses IX, Tuthmosis II , Thutmose the First, Thutmose III, Thutmose IV, Sqnin-Ra, Hatshepsut, Amenhotep the First, Amenhotep the Second, Amenhotep the Third, Ahmose Nefertari, Merit Amun, Siptah, Merenptah, Queen T, Seti the First, City II.
