A Briton turns a bus into a mobile hotel to save his expenses during camping trips .. Photos
A young British man, passionate about travel and camping, was able to convert a ten-year-old van into a wonderful family home suitable for travel, for 14,000 pounds sterling, in order to save the huge expenses that he had to pay to book hotels when traveling.
The British newspaper Daily Mail reported that Daniel Stephens - who is 31 years old and works as an aeronautical engineer from Derbyshire - has transformed the entire car in just 8 months into an integrated home with a kitchen and a place to eat, and enough sleeping space for five people.
The newspaper reported that the young man started the project after realizing his family, which includes wife Sally Ann, 30, and their three twin children, Isabella, Sophia, aged 8, and Lexi, 11, were spending exorbitant money on accommodation while camping at all Across Europe before the lockdown.
The report indicated that Daniel began to search for alternative options and settled on converting an old truck that he bought for 6000 pounds in September 2019, and made a complete change to it with the help of his family and friends.
Daniel said: "I have always wanted to camp, and as a family we love to go camping for the past three years, we have been camping in Europe, but we realized that one of our biggest expenses made us look for hotels for a family of five while traveling to and from the camping sites on our trips." The project took only 8 months to complete, with little help from his 66-year-old father, Charlie, friend Dell, and father Ash.
