The death of the famous American broadcaster Rush Limbaugh
The death has disappeared the famous American radio presenter Rush Limbaugh, who for more than four decades on the air has been a symbol of the conservative right and a strong supporter of former President Donald Trump.
He passed away at the age of 70, according to what his family announced on his Facebook page.
In February, Rush Limbaugh revealed that he had lung cancer and that his disease was in an advanced stage, during his radio program, which is often described as the talk show with the largest percentage of listeners in the United States.
In a press conference, White House spokeswoman Jane Saki expressed "condolences (President Joe Biden) to Rush Limbaugh's family and friends."
The late announcer had such an influence that the Democrats cynically described him as the "leader of the Republican Party".
Limbaugh was a controversial figure who was regularly accused of promoting false information and conspiracy theories.
