Kamala Harris: Vaccinating teachers against Corona is a priority
The US Vice President, Kamala Harris, said that vaccinating teachers with the vaccine against the "Covid-19" epidemic is a priority, given the important work they are doing, in an environment in which protection measures are difficult to implement.
"Teachers should be a priority ... they have to be able to teach in a safe place ... so teachers should be a priority alongside other frontline workers," Harris added on Wednesday.
The US Vice President explained that only about half of the states give the vaccine as a priority for teachers, and called on all states to put teachers at the front of the classroom to get the vaccine. Adding: "We all want to reopen schools .. Each of us has children in his life. They want to return to school ... and the teachers want to teach."
