Austria extends ban on landing aircraft from Brazil, Britain and South Africa
The Austrian Foreign Ministry announced today, Saturday, that the ban on receiving passenger planes from Brazil, South Africa and Britain will be extended until February 21.
Sources in the Austrian Foreign Ministry said that the extension decision came due to the continued worsening of the spread of infection with new strains of the "Corona" epidemic in the country, with the aim of reducing the burden on hospitals and medical services.
And the Ministry of Health had recently announced the discovery of 75 cases of mutated Corona virus (the South African strain) in the Austrian state of Tirol.
It is noteworthy that the neighboring country, Slovakia, announced yesterday, Friday, a development of the Corona situation, as it confirmed that the British boom is spreading very quickly and has reached 71% of new positive infections.
