The Moroccan website added that the "Al-Shorouk" channel, in its "Weekend Story" program, attacked the person of King Mohammed VI by embodying him in a cartoon doll.

On Friday, the Algerian channel Al-Shorouk, via the "Weekend Story" program, showed King Mohammed VI "in the form of a cartoon doll, with whom the presenter of the program had a virtual dialogue with her about the resumption of relations between Morocco and Israel, in a ridiculous way," according to Moroccan media.

The Moroccan website pointed out that this attack on King Mohammed VI comes in the context of a systematic campaign led by the Algerian official media, since Morocco's success in liberating the Guerguerat border crossing and expelling the Polisario Front, adding that "the intensity of the hostile campaign increased after the United States recognized the Moroccan Sahara."

Moroccan commentators considered that the Algerian channel diverged in this episode from the acceptable satirical political programs, and proceeded to insult in a way they described as "shameless" to the Moroccan monarch, while others said that this abuse goes beyond all courtesy and all the norms that were supposed to be invoked before carrying out such an act. Rejected.

Others added that Algeria is always keen to embody Morocco as an enemy country to distract the Algerian people from its main issues, especially in light of the political rivalries that the country faces at a higher level of power.

"Hespress" reported that a group of Moroccans united the picture of "profiles" on their Facebook pages with pictures of King Mohammed VI, accompanied by comments such as "insulting the country's symbols, a red line" "and no condolences for the haters." "We are all with King Mohammed VI. ".

On the other hand, Moroccan stars Saad Lamjarred and Asma al-Munawar expressed their strong dissatisfaction with what the Algerian channel "Al Shorouk" did.

Al-Munawar published a Facebook post in which she said: "Our dear, dear King, any provocation or offense, only increases our attachment to the glorious Alawite throne, God the Motherland, the King," and her tweet was attached with the tag "# Muhammad_Six_Red_kht."
