US President Donald Trump called on his supporters to march into the US Congress building on Wednesday.


"I'm going to walk with you from here to the Congress building to ask its members to do the right thing," Trump told his supporters in Washington.

He continued, "None of the previous presidents achieved what I was able to achieve during my presidency."


He added, "The third world elections are more fair than the elections that our country witnessed this year, and many in the Republican Party lack the courage."


And he continued: "We hope Mike Pence, Vice President, will do the right thing and bring the matter back to the states for re-certification, and I will be president and you will be the happiest people."


He stated: "Mike Pence should return votes to the states for re-certification."


The American capital, Washington, is witnessing demonstrations in support of the outgoing US President Donald Trump, coinciding with the ratification of the results of the presidential elections by Congress.
