The truth about the discovery of the first pyramid in the world in Lebanon

The newspaper said that the mountain guide and employee of the Lebanese Environment Council, Abdulaziz Al-Zein, was the discoverer of the trace during a trip he was making in Akrum.

The newspaper stated that the pyramid is a megalithic burial found at the top of the Monastery Valley, and it is still preserved in the form of its construction without being subjected to any sabotage.

Megalithic cemeteries are abundant in the vicinity of the town of Menges and Fereidis in Akkar, dating back 4000 years before the birth of Christ.

These are the first constructions of the ancient man in Lebanon in the town of Manjaz in the form of a small hut made of rocks that were previously roofed, from which the walls with a slight curvature inward after the roof fell.

What is striking in Akrum is the clear pyramid shape of the burial, about three meters high, made of tall, flat white limestone.

Al-Zein said: "There are three hierarchical cemeteries in the outskirts of the town of Akrom, the village near the border with Syria. The Environment Council previously talked about it in Qobayat, and this is the fourth hierarchical cemetery. Father Talon, who wrote about Akkar's antiquities, previously spoke about 12 pyramid burials in Akrum… Many of these forgotten treasures were lost due to people's ignorance of the value of these ancient constructions, which citizens often thought were a stone's throw. "

He pointed out that "there is a second burial site destroyed parallel to the one that I saw."

The researcher in history, Dr. Imad Yunus, does not rule out that "the pharaohs were inspired by the idea of the pyramid burial from the Akrum tombs that preceded the pyramids of Egypt by about two thousand years, especially since the ancient Egyptians visited the region and stayed there repeatedly, except that the Egyptians formed the simple pyramid into a miracle.

The head of the Environment Council in Kobayat, Akkar Antoine Daher, pointed out that "the monuments of the Akrum region are still waiting for someone to preserve them, highlight them, excavate some of them and put an end to the sabotage that affects them. There are Wadi al-Saba 'paintings that belong to the campaign of Nebuchadnezzar before Christ, and the fortress of the Husayn where temples Roman, some of which are still standing and others under the dirt. "

The village of Akrum, in Wadi Deir, in the upper Bekaa Valley near the Syrian border, is an area famous for its prehistoric antiquities.
