Suleiman added during an intervention with "Extra News", that the Ministry of Agriculture pays great attention to small breeders in terms of providing veterinary care, genetic improvement, establishing dairy collection centers, and importing new strains of more dairy-producing livestock.

The head of the livestock development sector confirmed that the country is self-sufficient in milk and exports the surplus in needs.

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi met last Tuesday with Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly, and Mr. Al-Qusayr, Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation.

Ambassador Bassam Rady, spokesman for the Presidency of the Republic, said that the meeting dealt with following up on the "national project to establish and develop dairy collection centers across the republic," in addition to a number of agricultural sector projects.

The president was briefed on the current position regarding dairy collection centers, directing the state to bear the cost of those centers obtaining the international certificate for the adoption of production quality standards, whose value is 50 thousand pounds per center, in support of the state for breeders and farmers within the framework of small and medium enterprises.
