Portugal, Poland and Brazil handball teams host the effects of the pyramid
Today, the Antiquities of the Pyramid Zone received members of Portugal, Poland, and Brazil handball teams participating in the 2021 World Handball Championship for men hosted by Egypt, while adhering to the precautionary measures and health safety controls prescribed by the International Handball Federation and those for visiting archaeological sites and museums in Egypt .
During the visit, the team members expressed their happiness at visiting one of the most important monuments in the world, especially the pyramid of King Khufu, the only remaining wonder of the wonders of the ancient world.
Members of these teams were keen to take memorial photos during their visit, stressing that they would pass on their experience to their friends and families to encourage them to visit Egypt, especially the Giza Pyramids area, and the media delegation in charge of covering the World Handball Championship also visited the area today.
During the past days, members of the national teams of Russia, Chile, Sweden, Austria, France, Switzerland, Japan, Germany, Congo, Iceland, Algeria and Uruguay have visited the region, participating in the tournament.
