Konstantin Kosachev, Russian Senator: Biden will be an uncomfortable opponent of Russia
The head of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council, Konstantin Kosachev, considered that the new US president, Joe Biden, would be a more troublesome opponent to Russia than his predecessor, Donald Trump.
"Biden is very extremist towards countries that are not allies of Washington," he said in a statement to "Russia 24".
He added: «It is necessary to judge Biden’s position through his previous statements. He is a person who does not lean toward Russia, China and other countries that are not allies of the United States. ”
He continued, "His statements are radically and categorically extremely negative."
Joe Biden was sworn in on Wednesday as the 46th president of the United States to succeed outgoing President Donald Trump.
