FBI: We have identified 29 who stormed the Capitol ... and we will punish them wherever they are
From this week to at least the inauguration of President-elect Joe Biden, armed protests are being planned in all of the 50 states' Capitol buildings and the Washington Capitol building, a bulletin issued by the FBI said.
According to the American "ABC News", the FBI has received information in recent days about a group calling for "storming" of state, local and federal courts and administrative buildings in the event that outgoing President Donald Trump is removed from office before inauguration day.
The group also plans to "storm" government offices in each state on the day that President-elect Joe Biden is inaugurated, regardless of whether the states pass the electoral votes for Biden or Trump.
"The FBI received information about a specific armed group intending to travel to Washington, DC, on January 16," the bulletin said. "They have warned that if Congress tries to impeach Trump through the 25th Amendment, there will be a massive uprising."
