A tweet posted by an imam of a mosque in the town of "Arba" in the state of Tokat, northern Turkey, sparked widespread anger on social media, after he called on the authorities to test the Corona virus vaccine against opponents of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan first.
And according to the Turkish newspaper Zaman, the imam of the mosque, Ayhan Keskin, published a tweet in which he said: “Let us use the Corona virus vaccine first on those affiliated with the opposition Republican People's Party.
The newspaper quoted Khairy Koçaoglu, head of the CHP in the town of Arba, as saying that he had filed a lawsuit against the imam of the mosque.
