Egypt .. The return of the "Nile Fountain" to life after a hiatus of 40 years
The "Nile Fountain" in the middle of the Nile River in the Egyptian capital Cairo regained its luster and luster again and returned to work, after the Egyptian "Arab Contractors" company succeeded in restarting it Friday evening.
And the company's official account on the social networking site "Facebook" published pictures of the completion of the development of the Nile River Fountain, so that it would work again, after nearly 40 years of suspension.
The media advisor to the Egyptian Prime Minister, Hani Younes, commented, "It has been out of order for 40 years and has become a luminous beacon. The best sentence I have read on this fountain ... Long live Egypt."
It is noteworthy that the Nile River Fountain was created in 1956 during the era of President Gamal Abdel Nasser, and it was subjected to various failures and many attempts to reform in the seventies and eighties of the last century, until the government was satisfied with operating it only on official occasions, then it stopped working permanently.
