Egypt is betting the world on the success of organizing the World Cup in difficult circumstances
Ahmed Bilal, the former captain of the Egyptian handball team, said that the Czech team apologized for the World Handball Cup in Egypt due to the presence of Corona cases, indicating that the North Macedonia team would join instead.
Bilal added, during a telephone interview on the "Alan" program broadcast on the "Extra News" satellite channel, that today there will be the first World Cup match at seven in the evening, explaining that the International Federation has made arrangements regarding apologies for any team, whether by apologizing or switching over the presence of Corona cases.
He added that the equipment in place is the bubble for each team that reaches its plane, as it will be inside quarantine until its take-off, returning to its homeland, starting from the work of a smear at the airport and then the hotel.
He confirmed that within 48 hours after any player made the corona swab, another swab would be made for him in the event that he was positive or suspected, and he was completely isolated from the rest of his team, following up on everyone who deals with teams, swabs are done for all of them.
He pointed out that there are 32 teams present in one country, which is an achievement in itself, adding that the country is competing strongly for the success of the tournament with that organization.
