Biden will sign executive orders and memoranda in the Oval Office at noon in order to deal with the "crises" of the pandemic, the economy, climate change and apartheid, and will ask relevant agencies to take steps in two additional cases, said Jane Sackey, who will become the White House spokesperson.


The measures will include the imposition of the muzzle in federal facilities and federal employees and an order to establish a new office in the White House to coordinate efforts to address the Corona virus.


Biden will also begin the process of returning to the Paris climate agreement and will issue a comprehensive order to tackle climate change, including canceling a presidential permit for the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline.


As part of a raft of immigration orders, Biden will rescind Trump's declaration of a state of emergency that helped fund construction of a wall on the border with Mexico and end travel bans from some Muslim-majority countries.
