Biden in his first tweet as president: "There's no time to waste."
New US President Joe Biden posted his first tweet as president, about half an hour after he finished his first speech as president after the inauguration ceremony.
"There is no time to lose when it comes to tackling the crises we face. That is why I am heading today to the Oval Office to work properly to provide bold action and immediate relief to American families," Biden wrote on his main Twitter account.
The tweet came after Biden’s speech, in which he stressed the importance of democracy, saying: “This is America’s Day, this is Democracy Day. America was tested, and it was up to the challenge. We celebrate democracy today, and the people's desire has been heard today, democracy is precious, and today democracy has triumphed ".
Biden also addressed the most important issues and files for him in the United States, beginning with the issue of the Corona virus, which has killed 400,000 Americans.
Then Biden spoke about a number of promises and goals that he seeks to achieve as president of the country, in which he needs the unity of the people in order to help him achieve them.
