Armenia: Azerbaijan destroys cultural heritage in Shusha
Armina has accused Azerbaijan of destroying homes and its cultural heritage, especially in Shusha.
One of the Armenian priests, Father Andreas Tadian, told local Armenian media that the situation is getting worse every day, adding that I do not think that they will preserve or restore Christian monuments, as Armenia did when it restored the city's mosque.
The ecclesiastical official confirmed that the Dadvank Monastery, which is guarded by Russian peacekeepers, there is fear of its destruction, as happened such as Tsitsernavank Church or Hadrot County Church.
He continued, "There are many churches in Shusha," says Father Tadian from "Jerusalem, Nagorno-Karabakh," a city with a lively cultural and religious life:
Clashes broke out between Armenia and Azerbaijan on September 27, and the military actions stopped after a tripartite agreement that Russia sponsored on November 10.
