An ice cream contaminated with Corona was discovered in Tianjin, China
The Chinese authorities have discovered that quantities of ice cream that is produced in the city of Tianjin, Corona have been contaminated, which prompted them to confiscate the contaminated product. According to "Sputnik".
On Sunday, the authorities said that 390 boxes of ice cream contaminated with the "Covid 19" virus, which entered the market in Tianjin Municipality, northern China, were tracked, according to the "China Daily" website.
She explained that 372 boxes of the contaminated product were confiscated, while the authorities are still searching for the remaining 21 boxes.
The city government said in a statement that it had closed the food company Daqiaodao, which manufactured the contaminated ice cream, noting that the employees in the company had undergone Corona tests.
And local media indicated that the ice cream, which was found contaminated with the virus, was made locally, but ingredients from both Ukraine and New Zealand were used in its preparation.
The manufacturer revealed that it produced 4,836 boxes of ice cream recently, of which 1,812 were sold to different provinces, while the local authorities in Tianjin launched a campaign to close the product's cold stores.
The health authorities asked Tianjin residents who bought the ice cream to follow up on their health and report any symptoms that may appear to them.
