The Royal Vehicles Museum organizes a guided tour to introduce the artifacts
Within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities keenness to organize a series of guided tours for the tourist guides in the newly opened archaeological museums and introduce them to the artifacts displayed in them, the Royal Vehicles Museum in Bulaq organized a lecture and a guided tour for a group of 35 tour guides to introduce them to the museum and the artifacts presented in it, in order to enable them to explain a scenario Special offer for tourists in an easy and interesting way.
Ahmed Al-Sabbagh, General Director of the Royal Vehicles Museum, said that during the tour, the philosophy of the museum display of halls and artifacts was highlighted. He explained the history of the museum and the members of the Alawite family, as well as the purpose and mission the museum brings to visitors.
The guides expressed their happiness with this experience and cooperation with the museum management, stressing the importance of getting acquainted with the museum and its collections closely.
It is noteworthy that the museum includes a group of halls that include 470 remarkable artifacts, the most prominent of which are 40 royal carriages of different sizes and types, and a group of horse crews and accessories, in addition to the clothes of the employees of the stirrups and whose jobs are related to the carriages, where they wore clothes of a special character characterized by decorations Brightly colored.
The museum also displays a rare collection of horse supplies, including saddles, stirrups, masks and hair-cutting machines, some of which are decorated with ornaments such as royal crowns, stars and crescents made of gold-plated copper. As well as a variety of badges and oil paintings of kings and princesses dating back to the same historical period.
