“Milk can harm both adults and children,” Voss says. It is believed to cause the development of yeast bacteria and the formation of mucus, which is responsible for many different problems, from ear diseases and allergies to asthma and anemia. Dairy products can also cause weight gain.
The expert points out that the calcium present in milk and milk products reduces the risk of overeating and helps reduce weight. “Milk and milk products can be consumed daily, but it is important not to over-eat them,” she says.
