The cause of Maradona's death revealed after an autopsy
Argentine "TN" channel revealed the cause of the death of soccer legend Diego Armando Maradona, after an autopsy.
The channel reported, citing autopsy data, that Maradona had died of severe heart failure.
She noted that it was observed that Maradona had "acute pulmonary edema", which occurs either due to heart failure to remove fluid from the blood circulation in the lung, or due to direct damage to the lung parenchyma.
The death of the former Argentine star, at the age of 60, was announced on Wednesday, after a long career during which he left a great football legacy.
