Sotheby's: an expensive pink diamond discovered in Russia
Sotheby's has announced that an extremely rare pink and purple tinge diamond extracted in Russia has sold for $ 26.6 million, and Sotheby's described the diamond as "a true wonder of natural wonders."

Sotheby's added that a competitor bought the diamond and asked not to be identified, indicating that the diamond, which was extracted by the Russian company (Alrosa) in July 2017, was cut and formed from the largest pink diamond crystal ever found in Russia, according to Reuters.
While Benoit Riblin, a jewelry expert who supervised the sale, said: The diamond "has set a record as the largest bright pink diamond crystal ever to be offered at auction."
