Revealing the volume of Dubai's trade with Oman 2019

Dubai's foreign trade with Oman grew in 2019 by 8.4%. To reach a value of 37.85 billion dirhams, compared to 34.9 billion dirhams in 2018.

 

The value of Dubai's foreign trade with Oman in the first half of 2020 was about 14.85 billion dirhams, according to WAM.


Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director General of Dubai Customs, said: “Dubai Customs is keen to provide the best commercial and customs services to the customers at the Hatta Port Customs Center. The focal point of the trade movement between the sisterly Sultanate of Oman and the UAE.


 


He added: “The department provided the center with the latest smart systems for customs clearance and examination of various types of goods in accordance with the unified customs law of the GCC countries. To serve the flow of trade movement with Oman and support the growth of trade exchange between the Sultanate and the Emirate of Dubai.



He pointed out that “the department pays great attention to developing the capabilities of customs inspection officers at Hatta Customs Center. Through intensive training sessions aimed at raising the level of performance. To ensure the quality and speed of customs clearance of goods exchanged with the Sultanate through Hatta Port.
