Hungary began implementing a rule requiring citizens to wear masks in many public places in major cities, today, Wednesday, as part of new restrictions imposed to counter the significant rise in deaths from the Coronavirus.
According to Bloomberg News, Prime Minister Viktor Orban said yesterday, Tuesday: "Additional restrictions are necessary to avoid overcrowding in hospitals, and the government will review the effect of the measures within two months. Among the new restrictions are the closure of gyms, libraries, museums and zoos."
He continued: “Family gatherings can be allowed, so that the number does not exceed 10 people, and funeral rites can be held in the presence of a maximum of 50 people, and weddings are prohibited, and secondary schools and universities will convert to distance education, while primary schools and nurseries will remain open.”
