Consumer price inflation in Egypt rose to 4.5% on an annual basis last October, from 3.7% last September.


With these figures revealed by the Egyptian Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics today, inflation is less than the range targeted by the Central Bank at 9%.

And compared to the previous month, prices increased by 1.8% in October 2020, compared with 0.3% in September 2020, according to "Reuters".
