An explosion of a medical center in Connecticut, in the United States of America, and this is the death toll
The Associated Press, citing officials, revealed that an explosion appeared to have occurred in a maintenance building at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Connecticut. On Friday, two people were killed, and a third was missing.
Police in the US state of Connecticut confirmed in a statement on Friday. Officials are investigating a report of an explosion at a veterans' medical center in West Haven.
The police added, on Twitter, that investigators from the fire and explosives unit had gone to the site to help local firefighters.
“We received a report this morning of an explosion at the West Haven campus of the Connecticut health care system,” said Robert Wilkie, Secretary of Veterans Affairs in a statement. This resulted in the death of two people in the non-sick care area.
Robert Wilkie stated that neither victim was sick.
