Al-Azhar sends an important warning to these groups, including those with confirmed infection with the Coronavirus

Al-Azhar cited the saying of our Master, the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him: “A nurse will not be sent to a sanator” [Al-Bukhari] And he, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “There is not a man who strikes the plague, so he stays in his home patiently, with due consideration, knowing that he will not happen to him except for what God has ordained. If only he would have the same as a martyr. [Narrated by Al-Bukhari, Ahmad and his pronunciation].

The Al-Azhar Center affirmed that it is forbidden for him to be lenient in his forced dealings with his residents. Rather, he must take into account the health and safety of everyone around him.

The center explained that health is one of the greatest blessings that deserves the gratitude of God Almighty, day and night. Subhanah said: {And he made for you the hearing, the eyes, and the hearts, so that you may be thankful. [Bees: 78]

He pointed out that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, had warned that many people overlook this blessing. He said: “There are two blessings that are reprehensible for many people. Health and emptiness »[Al-Bukhari].

He said that health is a blessing that must be preserved by mentioning it and not forgetting it, thanking it and not disbelieving it. And using it in obedience to God Almighty, and not exposing it to demise and destruction.

He added that he does not hide the danger of the emerging corona virus (Covid 19) to public health, and the speed of its spread. And the extent of the harm resulting from people underestimating it, and the leniency in preventing it. So; The Muslim should avoid crowded places, and mixing with people as much as possible, and the matter is confirmed for those who have symptoms of infection with the virus. Our Master, the Messenger of God,, said: “Do not send a nurse to a sanatorium.” [Reported by Al-Bukhari]

And she indicated that it is forbidden for a Muslim to violate the medical instructions and the preventive instructions issued by the competent authorities until they announce the end of the crisis completely. Because that exposes oneself and others to a citizen of harm and destruction. The harm of the virus will not be limited to leniency in preventing it. Rather, it may encroach on others who live with or mix with them. And the Messenger of God ﷺ says: “There is no harm nor harm. Whoever harms God will harm him, and whoever is hard will God be hard on him.” [Brought out by the ruler]

And he says: “A believer should not humiliate himself.” They said: How can he humiliate himself? He said: “He will suffer from calamity when he cannot stand.” [Posted by Tirmidhi]

And she mentioned that preserving the soul is a goal from above and the first of the purposes of the Sharia. The Truth, Glory be to Him, about exposing the soul to a citizen of perdition: {... and do not throw your hands to destruction, and do well. Indeed, God loves the good {.. and the good ones} [Al-Baqarah: 195]. .
