A new agreement between Britain and the United States in the field of aviation
Reuters reported that Britain signed a new agreement with the United States, on Tuesday, in the field of aviation.
This agreement is considered a guarantee for the continuation of flights between the two countries in the coming year, after Britain's exit from the European Union.
The new agreement replaces a previous agreement that included Britain while it was within the European Union.
In turn, the British Ministry of Transport confirmed that the new air services agreement comes before the end of the transitional period with the European Union at the end of this year, when its unofficial membership in the bloc ends.
The ministry indicated that the new agreement "will replace the current European Union agreement for the continuation of flights."
