How to get there easy : air travel to Italy and its details

Flying to Italy had to be the best way to get there: fast and easy. (That is, if it does not come from Europe). The first thing the trip should know is where to land. You don't want to end up in the wrong destination, right? Therefore, it is advisable to consult the ports closest to your travel destination. Unfortunately, the options that could be taken to fly to Italy could be limited. Choosing the best pit stop might cost you, but you should always weigh the benefits.

When you decide to fly to Italy, you may find that tourist airlines often land at major Italian airports in Rome and Milan. Other common ports for air travel to Italy are those in Bologna (especially if you are from the US). Most travelers take these routes because the large number of passengers heading to these destinations are also guaranteed cheaper airfares.

The two main airports in Rome are located at the airports of Fiumicino (FCO) and Ciampino (CIA). The main airports in Milan, on the other hand, are the ports of Linate (LIN) and Malpensa (MXP). Other airports for famous tourist destinations are BLG –Bologna, FLR –Florence, NAP –Naples, TRN –Turin, VCE –Venice, GOA –Genoa, PSA –Pisa, PMO –Palermo, CTA –Catania, CAG –Cagliari, AHO - Alghero , AOI –Ancona, BRI –Bari, BGY - Bergamo, BDS –Brindisi, SUF –Lamezia Terme, PEG –Perugia, PSR –Pescara, REG –Reggio Calabria, TRS –Trieste and VRN –Verona.

Here's how you can get to some of these airports via these connections while flying to Italy:

To get around Rome's FCO Leonardo Da Vinci International Airport, take the night bus operated by CO.TRAIL at Rome Termini Railway and at Roma Tiburtina Station. If you want to go there by train, you can take the special "Leonardo Express" or the metropolitan FMI, Tiburtina station, which operates from 06:37 am-11:37 pm.

To get around Milan's MXP Malpensa Airport, take the Malpensa shuttle bus service. This also goes to Turin, Genoa, Como, Lugano and Linate airport. There is also a rail connection between Terminal 1 and Milan Cadorna station operated by Malpensa Express.

To go around Venice VCE Marco Polo airport, take the ACTV city bus no. 5 available from 06:35 onwards and on Sundays and holidays every hour from 07: 05-20: 05. There is also a city bus no. 15 to the Mestre train station and an air service to Padua and Vicenza. Or, take the Alilaguna water bus to St. Mark's with a short stop at Murano and Lido (the local seaside resort) before arriving in Venice just before midnight.

You can always take a taxi. However, beware of (water) taxi drivers promoting business inside the airport lounge, they can sometimes charge you astronomical prices, especially if you are from abroad.
