The features of the paid subscription model began to unfold in exchange for some of the features that were announced earlier in the Twitter platform.

In this context, researcher Jin Manchun Wong, famous for her research on the features of social networking applications, announced yesterday, Saturday, that she had discovered the cost and expected name of the new subscription service that will be launched by "Twitter".

Wong wrote, in a tweet on her Twitter account, that the subscription service Twitter Blue will cost $ 2.99 per month, and includes the feature to undo tweets and bookmark collections.

"Twitter appears to be working on a tiered subscription model, which could mean a premium, less messy experience for higher-paying subscribers," she added.

For his part, a spokesman for "Twitter" declined to comment, but the company usually does not confirm or comment on Wong's often accurate discoveries of new features before their launch.

Twitter has issued a large number of new product announcements over the past several weeks, updating its warnings about potentially offensive tweets, improving the image cropping algorithm to allow longer images to be fully displayed, and adding the ability for Android users to search within direct messages. Twitter also recently launched the Tip Jar tip feature to allow users to make donations to some content creators, journalists, experts and non-profit organizations.

Twitter earlier this month acquired Scroll, a $ 5 per month subscription service that removes ads from websites that you participate in.

With the announcement of the Scroll acquisition, Twitter also said that Nuzzel, a service that sends users daily email reports of the most important news in their Twitter feeds, will be terminated.

Tony Haley, the former CEO of Scroll who now works on the product team at Twitter, tweeted the day his company was acquired, saying that Scroll "will integrate into a wider Twitter subscription later this year."

This indicates that one of the advantages of a paid "Twitter" subscription will be an ad-free experience, which is something that the tweeters demanded as much as they requested modifiable tweets.

There is no information yet about when the paid version of "Twitter" will be launched, or who will be eligible for it, according to Al Arabiya.
