The minister said in statements to him, according to Turkey's follow-up now, that the number of victims has reached 83.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made new statements about the Izmir earthquake.

On the same day, Friday, an earthquake measuring 6.6 on the Richter scale struck Izmir, western Turkey, leaving a large number of victims.
While local sources revealed that 35 aftershocks, the strongest of which were 4.9 on the Richter scale, occurred after the earthquake in Izmir.
